WHY WE DO THIS
It is personal for us.
Watching my own daughters wrestle, I saw how much it costs a family to let a child compete, and how many talented, dedicated kids never get the chance because of money.
SELF Principle exists to remove barriers to a healthier life. For a young athlete, that barrier is often just the cost of taking part.

What the scholarship covers
$500
Each award is worth up to $500 in support toward the cost of competing. Depending on what the student needs and what our sponsors provide, that support may come as payment toward league and registration fees, tournament entry, or travel, or as equipment and gear donated by a sponsor. Funds are paid directly to the league, club, or vendor rather than to families. Two students are awarded each year, one per cycle.
